Susan G. Komen North Texas - Elizabeth’s Garden
Event Body: Elizabeth’s Garden was named in memory of Elizabeth Guardiola, a dedicated volunteer and dear friend who passed away in 2004. The exhibit was established in 2011 as a way to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Susan G. Komen North Texas. Eleven local artists donated their time, talent, and passion to create works of art inspired by breast cancer journeys. Various mediums were utilized to create this unique exhibit: acrylic, mosaic, collage, and sculpture. This exhibit is currently displayed at Collin Creek Mall in front of JCPenney.
